Classification and Application of electric railway accessories Electric railway accessories can be mainly divided into:
Cross arm: A fixed Angle bar at the top of a telegraph pole with a porcelain bottle on it, used to support overhead wires. Function: The cross arm is an important part of the pole tower, its function is used to install the insulator and the gold tools, to support the wire, lightning rod, and make it according to the regulations to maintain a certain safety distance;
Insulator steel foot: also known as porcelain wire, insulator is generally made of insulating parts (such as porcelain parts) and metal accessories (such as steel feet, iron caps, flanges, etc.) glued with cement or mechanical clamp. Insulators are widely used in power system, generally belonging to external insulation, working under atmospheric conditions. The external live conductors of overhead transmission lines, power plant and substation busbars and various electrical equipment shall be supported by insulators and insulated from the earth (or ground object) or other conductors with potential difference;
Ball head hanging ring: a connector consisting of a foot ball and a hanging ring. It is used to connect with the socket of the upper steel cap of the ball-and-socket type suspension insulator to form an insulator string;
U-ring: A connection consisting of a U-ring and a double hanging plate. Can be used alone, can also be used in two strings;
Bowl hanging plate: A connector consisting of a cap socket and a double or single piece of hanging plate.
